Before applying, please review the following information and requirements:
- The DESMA school is open to both experienced and early-stage researchers (including PhD students and postdocs).
- Participants are expected to attend all three days.
- All courses and practical sessions will be conducted in English.
- Prerequisites:
- Good familiarity with R and inferential statistics is required.
- Experience in meta-analyses or systematic reviews is not necessary.
- No prior knowledge of Bayesian statistics is needed.
Registration
- Due to limited space and prerequisites for participation, applications must be approved by the scientific committee. Once approved, applicants will receive instructions for registration and payment via the Azur Colloque platform. The registration includes accommodation (3 nights, Tuesday to Friday), lunches, coffee breaks, and the social event.
- Registration Fees:
- Regular fees: 380 euros
- Reduced fees (PhD and postdocs): 280 euros
- Private sector attendees: 580 euros
- Registration fees apply to non-CNRS employees
Selection Process
Applications will be evaluated by the scientific committee based on:
- Your motivation and alignment with the school’s goals.
- Your technical background and ability to benefit from the training.
- Priority will be given to applicants with active or upcoming systematic review/meta-analysis projects.
